The sanctioned Russian shadow tanker 'Avero' has been targeted by an Ukrainian sea drone in the Black Sea. The unloaden ship was struck at the starboard side stern, according to a release of the Ukrainian Secret Service from July 19, 2026.
The 'Avero' had been used to transport Russian crude oil following the oil embargo imposed by the G7 nations and the European Union, supplying oil to China and India, among other destinations.
